CULINARY INTERN

Responsibilities include:

  1. Stocktaking, prep work and setting up mise en place

  2. Successfully able to cook and prep for the entire outlet’s menu

  3. Maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene across outlets, complying with prevailing government laws and safety regulations

  4. Manage the brands' social media, customer enquiries and feedback

  5. Ordering of items for the kitchen to ensure operations run smoothly

  6. Working during private events and learning new off menu items under the guidance of a mentor

  7. Ensure to upkeep all food preparation and presentation and are delivered in accordance with the brand’s appearance/quality standards

  8. Learn proper purchasing, receiving and food storage standards in the kitchen. Maintain high-quality levels of receiving, storage, production and presentation of food

  • Possess strong language ability with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Thrive under high pressure and fast paced environment

  • Ability to work independently and in a team

  • Positive attitude, keen learner with a growth mindset

  • Willingness to go above and beyond to ensure highest quality of food and hygiene standards for all guests

  • Putting in a personal touch and soulfulness when preparing food
